Expect the Expected
Big news on the home front, as many of you already know my beautiful wife and I are expecting our second child!!! Sometime in mid-January there will be another Williams in 'da house'. I will post the ultrasound when we get it so you can all see the little miracle as he/she prepares to join the strange and bizarre little family we've got going on. ALSO, thanks to all the people that have been downloading "Positive" from the main page (no one has left any comments, so I hope you are digging on it), I have almost used up all my bandwidth so I may consider some different hosting options in the near future. Much respect and 'Peace to the pregnant!'

I posted a little studio experiment on the main page today, I call it "Positive". I've always had an inescapable ability to see the positive. Some say it has ebbed my ambition, I say screw them... and that makes me happy.... and in the immortal words of Martha : "thats a good thing".

Shave and a Haircut...
Little Mr. Kaden got his first haircut yesterday, as you can see, he is less than impressed. But he looks oh so cute.

First Gig in Ages
Hey, I had a great opportunity to play with an excellent musician and all-around swell fellow: Vince, sadly Vince's rock band just broke up and he's been looking for someone to play some acoustic songs and such with....and well, I'll have to let you know how that goes... The Gig rocked and I had a riot playing. SO cool. yeah cool. some pics of the show..(Vince is on the left)

What the hell am I supposed to do? Everybody lies, everybody's is an asshole but nobody thinks that they are. Everyone is only out for number one...except us, and you, not them... welcome to politics in B.C... It starts to look like a big game of twister after awhile, The "Honorable members" each take turns spinning the finger and pointing it at each other, they they all get together and pretend to screw each other while we all sit back and are supposed to be entertained?, or appeased?, or undervalued into apathy? Screw it, I'm running... VOTE FOR ME, I WOULD.

Mr. Kaden is TWO today. Too cool, too cute, too funny, too sweet, too brave, too funky, too precocious, to prodigious, too pure, and WAY TOO MUCH LOVE! What can I say? he's the best thing in my whole life ever.

Family Fun


My Little Mr. is getting so big. It makes me sad in a strange way, I'm excited about all the new things he can say and do, but the more he learns the less he needs us... ahhh the first of many post-modern-parental-pre-nostalgic musings about the coming of age of a special little boy. His mama's not so bad either, actually she's pretty hot, I mean pretty and hot.

Stupid things are cool
It's funny, the little victory's seem to be so much sweeter than grander ideals like "health" and "happiness"... but I've wandered... here we go:

barenaked.net is a web community dedicated to Canadian indi-kings, Barenaked Ladies. Anyway, they were asking for submissions of Barenaked Ladies Cover songsto use for a "charity tribute alb um" called 'naked under the covers', so I whipped together an acoustic version of "wrap your arms around me" (my favorite BNL song BTW) and I submitted it.
